This piece is part of a collection dedicated to honouring the craftsmanship of historic basketmaking. The Haanderik, a basket originally designed in the Netherlands, was used for picking fruit. The hook included with the basket was used to hang it from a branch to leave both hands free for fruit picking. Nowadays, it can be used for your trips to the farmers market, apple picking with family and friends, or to add texture and warmth to your space.
